I'm sorry ...I hope you're enjoying your steampunk. I'm sorry to hear you have left the FoW forums... I suspect we think somewhat alike (eg. I'm planning a crashed Nazi flying saucer" diorama using FoW minis :D)

Re: Battlefront bullsh*t, I can sort of understand them DQ'ing painting contest entries with non-BF minis. It's their show after all. But not being able to play in the tournament with your painting contest army is a terrible rule... They must have been able to set it up so there wasn't a time conflict, they just chose not to.

I don't know if I'd write them off as the next GW just yet, but they do need to reconnect with their old small-time values.Allison M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08362700513221195102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4635684321422114899.post-9392797048488420642009-02-25T18:40:00.000-06:002009-02-25T18:40:00.000-06:00If your side bar is still going on of "mini's you ...If your side bar is still going on of "mini's you are still thinking of buying"...as far as SteamPunk minis go...I still say that Warmachine has the best "rivet head" type minis.

And yes I know that folks argue that it isn't the exact "victorian only" steampunk era as it has more "arcana" and "booger monsters". Still...the figs kick much ass compared to the one's on your link.
Hell...check out the "Prof.Pendrake" fig..it is right up your ally for "intrepid monster hunter".Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
